Effective October 14, 2019: LRADAC Withdrawal Management Services will be limited to individuals struggling with alcohol and/or benzodiazepine misuse who meet the medical criteria for medically monitored withdrawal services. However, LRADAC understands the need for treatment engagement for those struggling with opioid misuse and therefore, individuals who do not meet criteria for withdrawal management will be referred to LRADAC outpatient services or to the individual’s local outpatient service provider. Pregnant individuals will always be a priority consideration for the appropriate level of care, to include withdrawal management.

Are you helping a patient or client who is struggling with alcohol or drugs?  We are glad to help.

Recovery from substance use disorders is a process of change through which an individual achieves improved health, wellness and quality of life. We recognize that this disease affects individuals in many areas of their lives. LRADAC therefore actively embraces a systems approach to recovery that is person-centered, self-directed and builds on the strengths and resilience of the person to take responsibility for his or her sustained health, wellness and recovery.
