Richland County Council Presents LRADAC with National Recovery Month Proclamation

On Tuesday, September 15, 2015 Richland County Council presented Gayle Aycock, President & CEO of LRADAC a proclamation declaring September National Recovery Month.  Within the proclamation, residents of Richland County are encouraged to share with their friends and relatives the importance of substance use prevention, recognizing signs and symptoms and linking individuals to effective treatment and recovery programs.  LRADAC was recognized for the significant role the organization plays in providing these needed services within the community.

LRADAC is the designated alcohol abuse and drug abuse authority for Lexington and Richland Counties of South Carolina. The public, not-for-profit agency offers a wide array of prevention, intervention and treatment programs in locations convenient to residents of both counties. The agency has a budget of approximately $10 million and serves more than 5,000 clients per year.
