LRADAC Selected for Eleven Honors at Mercury Awards

Columbia, SC – LRADAC received a total of eleven honors at the annual Mercury Awards event hosted by the South Carolina chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).  Kim Larick, LRADAC’s Vice President of Strategic Management and Community Services, stated, “It is an honor to be recognized by SCPRSA for the ways in which we communicate about the prevention and treatment of substance use disorders in the Midlands.”

LRADAC is the designated alcohol abuse and drug abuse authority for Lexington and Richland Counties of South Carolina. The public, not-for-profit agency offers a wide array of prevention, intervention and treatment programs in locations convenient to residents of both counties. The agency has a budget of approximately $10 million and serves more than 5,000 clients per year.
