Lexington One Community Coalition Hosts Collection Site for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

September 1, 2014

Saturday, September 27th, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.  In partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), LRADAC’s Lexington One Community Coalition is hosting a collection site for community members to drop off unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

The purpose of these collection sites is to encourage the community to always dispose of prescription drugs in a safe manner.  By doing so, these drugs are kept out of reach for children and will not contaminate the environment.  The Lexington One Community Coalition’s drop-off event will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the CVS Pharmacy located at 5608 Sunset Blvd, Lexington, SC 29072.
