Former Patient Rocks His Recovery with Gratitude for LRADAC

February 9, 2022

A guest blog from a former LRADAC Patient

I was honored on the night of Rock 4 Recovery with the chance to give back to LRADAC with my time and story. After years of struggle and perseverance, I was able to complete the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program at LRADAC.

Nothing short of the grace of God and the staff at LRADAC got me to the point I am at today. The loving and understanding counselors and staff gave me the motivation to not give up at my darkest hours. While it truly does take the individual being ready to get and stay sober, they cannot do it alone. I do not believe I would still be alive today, and I know I would not be sober, without the knowledge, tools and support I received through my treatment at LRADAC.

I hope that events like Rock 4 Recovery help spread the message that there is help out there for the addict who is still sick and suffering. I hope that others are able to find their way to LRADAC to receive the treatment they need.Again it was my honor to be able to give back to this program. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and do hope that all who are struggling with drugs of any kind find the help and love they deserve.

With gratitude, Christian C.
