Cost $35 Registration Fee for one session. Lunch is on your own. Snacks are provided.
$65 Registration Fee for both sessions.
Credit (3.0) continuing education hours for each session to be awarded for certified addictions counselors, Social Work, LPC, LMFT, LACs for each session. If attending both sessions, (6.0) hours total are awarded

Session I:  Participants will learn:

  • Aspects of developing and implementing appropriate boundaries
  • Key features of confidentiality in an electronic, collaborative world
  • Understanding Risk/Harm Reduction as a substance use disorder treatment approach
  • Increase awareness of the space between person-centered care and administrative discharge

Session II:  Participants will learn:

  • Increased knowledge of ethical decision-making model.
  • To use case studies to practice the use of ethical decision-making models in a peer consultation setting.
  • Increased competence in utilizing model, understanding multiple ethical considerations being present at the same time and obtaining feedback to support decision making.
  • Increased knowledge of several ethical dilemmas common in treating substance use disorders.
